Spectrum Tropicals is the Brand Name of our newly established North American Distribution Center in Canada that represents our Flower farms located in Suriname, Guyana and Barbados.
In addition we also represent a network of out growers located throughout the Caribbean, Central and South America. Our Name is new, but not our farms. We have been around since 1998. Covid19 has now forced us to go directly to our 25000 + florists in North America.
We have therefore opened Distribution Center in Canada, where all flowers are shipped to and send to florists, chains and movie sets to name a view. We mainly operate on a subscription basis to maximize savings to our clients and provide our farms with direction and production goals. Single orders are also possible on request.
There’s a good chance they came from the Caribbean, Central or South America, raised in a greenhouse or the sun-drenched tropics. But once harvested, the blooms usually take a lengthy detour to get to you: third-party handlers typically ships them to a warehouse where they can wait for weeks in cold storage before arriving on your doorstep. It’s not their fault they end up looking a little worse for all that wear.
But why go through all that, if less product is wasted (and the resources to grow them) by waiting to cut the flowers until they’re ordered, and shipping them straight to our customers?
We grow Heliconias, Gingers, Anthuriums, Assorted Greens, Bamboo's and much much more. Through our associated farm network we also offer various types of Roses, Bird of Paradise and many other rare tropical flowers and greens, such as... palm leaves, potted plants, landscaping plants and various rhizons. We can supply unique items from the rainforest it self as they are collected by jungle walkers.
An inventory will be online soon. These items need 7 - 10 day shipping, so do keep that in mind when ordering any of these items.
